Bast is Best
Methodology: FASTWURMS (Kim Kozzi and Dai Skuse) will be linking up with familiars "Pusterniks" and "Purrbugger". For this world telekinesis competition, the "Bast is Best" team will be using feline evolutionary algorithms and astral projections streaming from a dark space pulsar and the remnants of a dark energy star.
FASTWURMS is an ongoing cultural project (1979- ), the trademark and the joint authorship of Kim Kozzi and Dai Skuse.
FASTWURMS art practice is based on a DIY sensibility, an allegiance towards working class, artist collaborations and queer alliance, a practice predicated on the exchange and circulation of aesthetic knowledge as a performative and public narrative.
As a Witch identified practice and a subversive participant in bent identity politics, FASTWURMS brings a "twisted" critical perspective to investigations of the "other", difference, agency and authenticity.
